Have you always questioned yourself that Join me for a peaceful 5-day painting experience designed to make you go from saying I AM NOT AN ARTIST to I MADE IT!

What is Postcards at Dusk?

It’s a free 5-day gouache painting challenge where you’ll receive step by step real-time tutorials to create 5 beautiful landscapes that feel like dreamy little postcards from another world.

But beyond the paintings, this is a mindset shift of how you see yourself and go from saying I AM NOT AN ARTIST to I MADE IT. A chance to reconnect with your creative self. To say yes to peace, beauty, and growth.

Hi, I am Umashree

A gouache & watercolor artist, content creator, and mom to a super energetic toddler.

Art has always been my anchor. Even through pregnancy, even in the chaos of new motherhood, I never stopped creating. But yes, the pace slowed down. Nap times became painting time. And sometimes, I painted with my little one right next to me, smudging colors with his fingers.

I still make uneven skies. I still leave edges unblended. But I also still show up. And each brushstroke reminds me: this is who I am.

That’s what this challenge is about. It’s not just about painting. It’s about giving yourself permission to create, no matter the season of life you’re in. It’s about finding your voice as an artist and finally be able to say I MADE IT !

You don’t have to do it alone. I created this experience to guide you gently — step by step — through a path that brings joy without overwhelm, color without confusion, and peace with every brushstroke.

Imagine these paintings come up in your social media feed. What comes to your mind?

What if I showed you that painting postcard's like these is

EASY - PEASY, LEMON SQUEEZY?

Each day, you’ll receive one guided painting lesson and they aren’t just tutorials.

They’re gentle invitations to create, to reflect, and to grow as an artist.

The Biggest Challenge for Most Aspiring Artists Isn’t the Brush… It’s the Belief.

  • Before the brush meets the paper — comes self-doubt.
  • Gouache feels exciting — but also confusing - should I treat it as watercolors or as acrylics?
  • You’ve got the desire to create calm, soulful landscapes — but you're stuck before you even begin.
  • Maybe you’ve already tried painting… and felt like you “failed.”
  • Instagram and Youtube are an amazing source of inspiration but you never get to see the whole process
  • You want more guidance than just a time-lapse video and you know that.

I’m not here to teach you how to be perfect. I’m here to remind you that art is about expression, not precision.

Even now, I still make mistakes. I still call myself a learner. But every "imperfect" painting has brought me closer to the artist I am becoming.

And I want that for you too.
